    GFCI and etc.

That does sound like the best solution. Thanks. I'll begin revising.

    GFCI and etc.

Thanks for the replies. Now that I know I need a GFCI. I have one more dilemma. I live in an apartment; I'm not a home owner. :( Do I put the GFCI all the way upstream in the breaker box or do I settle for putting it the control panel. My fear about installing it in the breaker box is...

    Cam Locks

I was totally wrong earlier, opps. They are compatible; you just need to decide based on the pipe and/or hose that you will be joining. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camlock_(fluid_fitting)

    Cam Locks

I'm researching Cam locks too. My guess is that they have different cam profiles. Cams are in some ways like non-linear gears. At one point in the arc or path it will be high force output and low speed output, and at another point it will be low force and high speed. The shape of the cam...

    Electric Turkey Fryer

This is kind'a a dead thread, but whatever.... If you have access to your circuit breaker, you can check what kind of electrical outlets are available. Having a 240V plug, allows electric brewing by installing an electric heating element similar to a hot water heater. The capitol investment...

First Timer Jumping into AG: checklist and some questions

I'm using the 15 gallon brew kettle for mashing and the aluminum crock pot for chilling the drained wort. Yes, does mean that I would be making lagers and ales, sorry I could have made that more clear. For racking and transferring? I was planning to pump CO2 on top of the beer in the...

First Timer Jumping into AG: checklist and some questions

I have already bought a 15 gallon brew kettle, and now I am spec-ing out the rest. Here is what I am thinking: -digital thermometer (VWR 10-Memory Thermometer 4373) - overkill but why not? -propane cooker (185,000 BTU) -Aluminum crock pot (60 qt) - to be used for chilling the filtered wort...
