    Add wheat starch?

Well I'm drinking one now and it tastes great. I'm not sure what effect the wheat starch had on flavor though. It has a FG of 1.008. Give the wheat starch a try if you can find it.

IPA Kit at 1 week. Can I move to colder temp?

A lot of people don't use a secondary and just leave it in primary for 3-4 weeks. If you are dry hopping then you should secondary. Either way don't bother moving to a colder spot for an ale.

    More Problems with my LHBS

That sucks! My LHBS sells 2 row for $45 for a 55 pound sack. Can't complain. It sounds like you would be better off buying online and paying for shipping.

Grain mill and bulk grain or kegging system?

I did both. Did the kegorator first then I bought a knock off corona style mill for about $25 and hand crank about 8 pounds of grain in about 10 minutes. Can't beat the price on bulk grain and plus now I can brew whenever I feel like.

How many gallons of homebrew in 2009?

I think he means we can't count what we have brewed in the past. That would be kind of hard for some people.

Why does my homebrew not give me a hangover?

I think we are missing something. More homebrew equals more gas and less hangover. Maybe the cure to a hangover is wicked gas!:ban: I think i'm on to something. or maybe i've had too much homebrew.

    Your Favorite Mug?

Mine is a Chimay goblet my brother in law brought back from Belgium for me. Just feels right in my hand.

    Do I need a starter?

+1 on making the starter. White labs actually recomends making a starter with high gravity beers anyways. Plus with it past the date it is probably a good idea.

Where do you store your propane tank?

Good point. My garage is detached so me and the dog are the only ones who go in there but I do store the tank out of the way. I am listening to the podcast on propane safety right now and it sounds like the main concern is in the event of a fire you have a bomb sitting in your garage.
