    I will cut 8oz of crystal out on your suggestion and the carapils I was told helps with head retention which I am missing in my current porter and thought it might be a good addition to the stout as I like head....on my beer.

    Hello from Anacortes, WA

    I have been shopping at northwest brewers supply in Burlington as well as Whidbey island home brew supply. I just racked my first porter to a secondary yesterday gave it a taste in between and man it is gonna be good. I think this might be my new favorite hobby!!!
