    Strains of weed

Used to grow my own back in the day. Strawberry cough (sativa) was my favorite and was always in rotation. I usually had some sort of hybrid as well, just for something different. These days I get medical vape pens and edibles. Still prefer sativas for my vape and edibles for helping me sleep.

Fat Tire - New Belgium ditches classic recipe

Count me in as another where Fat Tire was a staple craft brew. My dad would always come back from Colorado with a trunk filled with cases of the stuff. Only lasted a month or two, but it was always a good month to be at home. Between Fat Tire and Summit, they were my intro into some really...

Fat Tire - New Belgium ditches classic recipe

I got that book as a gift last year and it has some really good recipes. I use it often to see what other breweries do when I'm coming up with my own recipe.

Does any off ya'll play video games?

Oh man, do I feel you. I've got a 4 year old, 2 year old, and one due in June. For me, I game on PS5 mostly, but some games on Switch as well. I'm a big FromSoftware guy, so Elden Ring was big for a while along w/ Sekiro before that. I'm really excited for the new Star Wars Jedi Survivor...

    Kveik Oatmeat Stout?

I used Lutra for a porter I made recently. It finished in a week and was delicious after about a week of conditioning. There was a bit of a "twang" during that first week, but it mellowed out considerably after just a few days. I basically finished that entire keg to myself, it was sooooo good.

    My bock is cloyingly sweet

Just got back to this thread. So here are some other missing details (and here I thought I was asking a good question, shows me...) 1. This is a 5 gallon batch 2. I'm a heathen and this is warm fermented around 68 the entire time. 34/70 doesn't seem to mind and it usually ferments out pretty...

    My bock is cloyingly sweet

Saaz is 3.3, so I think I might be on the low end.

Dry Yeast for Lager Made With Pilsner Malt?

If looking for a clean lager without worrying about temp control, definitely check out Mangrove Jack's Cali Lager strain. Pretty sure it's an ale strain, technically, but it produces a far cleaner beer than lutra and doesn't have the esters like 34/70. Lately I've really enjoyed the 34/70 more...

Oxygenated the wort probably among other mistake. Don't know the best way to handle it.

There's nothing really to "handle" and you likely have already made the situation worse. Close up your fermenter, leave it alone for a few days, and then bottle. It may still be drinkable, but it very well could taste like wet cardboard (I know my first 3 or so brews were just awful). Won't...

Getting Green Apple Aroma on Purpose

Only difference between bud and Busch (or coors and keystone) is the can. Literally just different markets.
