Could it possibly be hops? I see lots of green stuff when I transfer from the hop pellets.

I have never added anything to my secondary before. I plan on dry hopping for the first time this weekend. Is there any special precautions to take when adding strawberries to a secondary? I think strawberries would be a nice touch to a summer brPhelanKA7ew and recipes called for it.

I am planning on brewing a beer to be ready in july when I'm hanging by the pool. I was wondering if anyone had any styles or recipes they recommend for a the summer by the pool beer. I beer from extract... Im plan on moving to AG in the next few months (once I get the money and time)

I think that would be cool. I have been wanting to brew an IPA or a copper ale. I would be down with doing something like that after derby weekend.

I actually live in lexington too. I go to UK. I have had more success with the tap water from louisville. Lexington's tap water taste like chlorine can't be good for brewing. I have an RO/DI system at my parents house in louisville (for our saltwater aquarium) I have never tried brewing with it...

I am brewing an IPA right now and it is in primary fermentation. In the recipe it calls for dry hopping 1oz. of cascades. I am always pariniod about contaminating my brew, and I have never dry hopped before. I plan on dry hopping in my carboy. 1) Should I be worried about my hand touching...
