I call it the Rufus 10! It's a scaled back version of the Brutus 10 design and didn't require any welding. It is constructed out of superstrut and other various pieces of metal. I enjoy the open frame design because it allows me to access all angles of the system during a brew day or for upgrading system components easily.
The system is unique in the fact that I used SS quick disconnects for all of the connections. I only have one pump and therefore only need 3 hoses (each with a female QD on both ends) to do all of my transfers.
Additionally, I have quick disconnects on the gas lines so I am incredibly portable. This limits me to only using one burner at a time but I overcame that problem by using building a RIM system for mashing.
I will most likely upgrade to a PID system for accuracy of mash temperatures but for now my analog temperature controller works fine.
