Behind the "Zion Curtain" of Northern Utah.
:D Hey everybody out there in homebrew land... My name is Roger "Doc". I am a 44 year old skateboarding Grandfather and homebrewer. I also like camping and four wheeling in my Jeep! I live behind the "Zion Curtain" of Northern Utah (Layton, North of Salt Lake City). I first got into homebrewing because the "ass on tap" here is only 3.2%... But, now I'm addicted to my homebrew and great craft brews... :p

 Utah is run and controlled by the Mormon Church and it's members... The alcohol laws are very repressive here etc. If you are not LDS, you are an outsider, and many times treated like scum... Things are changing as more and more people move here from out of State who are not Mormon's be we are still a minority here. We are fortunate to able to have homebrew supply shops here, to be able to enjoy craft beers from local micro-brewery's etc. The store bought "ass on tap" here is only 3.2%... I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture!

Yes brother, we get the picture, and we realize that there is much more that has gone unsaid. Rest assured, the "resistance" is ready to help in any way that we can. We assume that since you've recently been to SLC that your current beer stock is sufficient to get you by. Let us know immediately if that is not the case...while an emergency air drop will be costly, it can be arranged if necessary. For the future just let us know which types of malts and yeasts you'll be needing...you'll need our balloon to be able to reach what, about 7,000 feet? As for hops, a short trek into WA will net you all you need of those.

Once again brother, just keep the faith, and let us know how we can help. The ever vigilant, ever inebriated, home brew irregulars are here to serve.

rogerdoct, were roundin up a posse ratnow .. uh huh..oh.. I guess were buyin another round for the posse. We'll get back with ya later....:D

You'll be telling me bacon butties are also outlawed next! :( Being English, I have "ye olde ale" cursing through my veins, and I am standing by ready to donate an armful, or possibly a slack handful...just say the word!
