purely opinion here, but if the cost was cheap enough i'd play with the hongkong special

went with Auber for my direct-fired controller's PID and the cost (~45 bucks) was low enough to not look at alternatives -- especially compared to the cost of nema boxes and the other components

don't know why I would cheap out on the brain... :drunk:
