Default 12" false bottom in sanke keggle tun

Will this work? I have one laying around and would love to not have to buy more stuff to get my mash tun up and running. Any ideas? I know it was made for a cooler but I really don't want to go that route.

It will slide around and grains may get under it.
If you could fasten it in place some how, that might help.

I use a false bottom like this in my keggle mlt and it works great! I just split a piece of silicone tubing lengthwise and wrapped it around the false bottom. This creates a nice seal and it doesn't move around with it there. Just make sure that you cut the hole big enough for it to fit. My hole was a little too small, but luckily I was able to bend it a little and force it in.

I have a really cool solution for insulating a keggle mlt too. I don't lose more than a degree of heat over my hour long mash even in the winter!

Top work. So basically all I would need is food grade silicone hosing and some stainless hose clamps? Dang...great thinking!
