I'm still about 4 weeks away from bottling my first home brew. It's a stout. I would like some advice on when to add the corn sugar to carbonate it. Should I put a little in each bottle before filling them, or boil it into some water, let it cool, and add it to the wort while it is still in the bottling bucket? I've read about how to do both, I'm just looking for some opinions here.

Just looking for advice on what is best for a stout. If you would like to expound upon this for other beers like IPAs, Ales, etc. please feel free. The more advice the better. I plan on brewing all of these in the future. :)
