Hey, guys, I'm doing my first AG tonight followed by an extract batch. Doing 10 gallons because I'm making 2 lagers and I don't want to waste all that time with the JC'd freezer for just one batch.
Anyway, I need to add some salts to my mash water but I'm not sure if my additions are per gallon or for the whole mash water volume. I'm assuming it's for the volume because the spreadsheet asks for that just above the salt additions section.
I'm referring to Steps 4 and 5.
