I used the recipe found at https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f12/troegs-nugget-nectar-clone-104432/ to make a Nugget Nectar clone. I used BeerSmith to convert it into a liquid extract recipe.

10.50 lb Pale Liquid Extract (8.0 SRM) Extract 96.60 %
0.37 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt -120L (120.0 SRM) Grain 3.40 %
1.52 oz Nugget [13.00 %] (60 min) Hops 37.4 IBU
0.76 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] (30 min) Hops 14.4 IBU
1.52 oz Warrior [16.00 %] (20 min) Hops 27.9 IBU
1.25 oz Columbus (Tomahawk) [16.00 %] (0 min) Hops -
1.00 oz Palisade [8.00 %] (0 min) Hops -
1.00 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] (Dry Hop 3 days) Hops -
1.00 oz Palisade [8.00 %] (Dry Hop 3 days) Hops -
1 Pkgs California Ale (White Labs #WLP001) Yeast-Ale

How much priming sugar should I use?
It's a 5 gallon batch and I have 5 oz but the guy in the brewstore told me that's the maximum I'd need.

Bottles or keg?

In a keg, 1/3 cup will get you a medium-low carbonation level apropriate for the style.

Bottles carbonate a little bit less than kegs. If you're bottling, go with 4-5 ounces (that's by weight) of the sugar. When I batch prime, I just kinda eyeball it to about 80-90% of the 5-oz. package.

Remember to dissolve in warm water, yadda-yadda, and add it to your bottling bucket before you siphon the beer into it. Failure to do so can result in erratic carbonation from poor mixing.

When I bottle condition now, I use Munton's CarbTabs. 3 tabs per bottle is about right for most American styles. They're an exquisite product.
