Hello from Indiana

Hello, I've recently become interested in home brewing and winemaking, and have been doing a lot of reading on the subject the last few months. I have to admit, there is so much to learn about brewing, that I'm a little intimidated by it. I currently only have a few batches of mead going (started with something very simple, and it seems to be doing well), but am hoping to be able to start brewing beer in the next month or so, depending on how soon I can get some equipment.

Anyway, glad to be here, and I'm sure I'll have numerous questions as time goes on.

Welcome aboard! Brewing is definitely intimidating at first, but once you jump right in and get a few batches under your belt it becomes second nature! Just be prepared to make some mistakes and learn from them! You have a big family here to help you answer questions you may have or problems you come across! Other then that its a fun and addicting hobby! Ed
