I whipped up a batch of dried fruit wine tonight. Elderberries, blueberries, and some raisins. Tell me what you think of this 2 gallon batch:
10 oz dried blueberries (dried them myself this past summer)
5 oz dried elderberries (bought at store)
4 oz raisins
2 oz bentonite in primary to aid in clearing
2 campden tabs
sugar to 1.080 - 5 lbs - I'd like this to be 10-11% - nice and easy to drink
yeast nutrients
yeast will be Premier Cuvee, as that's what I have on hand.
Do you think it will turn out ok? I've never tried a batch that uses all dried fruit.
... should i call it Elder Blueberry? Bluederberry?
