i shoot a fan up the outside stairs, how long did the co linger for at 7ppm. whats your saison recipe look like.

I turned the whole house fan on and it cleared out pretty quickly.The saison blows me away.Pun intended.This was the first time i used 3711 yeast.
the stuff is a beast.FG 1.003 OG1.095. I had to put a blow off about 6 hrs after pitching.

Hey guys, Don here from smithtown.
You could name your brew from sandy, "Blow Hard Saison"

french for blowhard is"souffler fort"
german is blasen hart
I think good ol american "blow hard saison" works real well.
Thanks for the name
CO is about the same wieght as air and mixes well with it.Propane is heavier and will pool on the floor

I think it is Radon that is heavier than air and will pool in the basement if left undisturbed. That is why I had a fan sucking air out from under my basement slab in Pennsylvania.

New brewer here from Kings Park. Just bottled my 3rd brew since x-mas - an IPA extract purchased from Brewtopia in Port Jeff. I'm going to probably stick to extract for a while - to work out the kinks in the process. I plan on attending the LIBME and Brewtopia events early next month so hopefully I'll see some of you there. It is nice to see there are so many folks close to home... can't wait to get more involved with the LI brewing community.

Welcome to the hobby! See you at Brewtopia. Mark has a great deal on bulk LME that can make it pretty economical to stick with extract brewing as long as you want.
