Let's just ban, ban, ban....Dan!

I was back but now I'm hitting the sack.
I came across a few good ones.
I'll post something soon and try not to slack.

Oh how sad to come back to this thread.
To find a word I can not use in my head.
No more trying to rhyme with a fiddle
It's banned, I can't use it, Not even a little?
What else will I do while I piddle?
I guess I've always wanted to learn to whittle.
Maybe work out and lose a little of my middle.
Let's be realistic, that thought makes me giggle.
Time to go make some bacon on my griddle.

Hey there Emjay
I just got to say
Banning my favorite word my young son
Is not going to bring this riddle much fun
OKay you'r probably older than I
Calling you son was a stupid reply
Doesn't matter ... words will flow here
Cause it is all about fun and drinking beer
In addition if you haven't read this hole thread submission
Emjay is not like many and his brain brings forth weird additions
To a thread that only ask for riddles
Emjay? He sorts throught the middle
Glad to have this guy posting here.
If he weren't I'd spend more time crying in my beer.
Thats enough! I have to say.
Please press on dear Emjay!

Nah, based on some posts that I've read,
You're not too far off with what you said.
You probably are old enough to be my dad,
As 26 years are all I've had.

Just want to say, and this is a bit early and probably won't rhyme.
Thanks to you all this thread brings me great awe.
To all who have posted or have read here. To my heart it is quite dear.
Merry Christmas to you. All year it brings cheer
And to this thread you guys make riddlles quite clear
Well, the riddles aren't always clear and that makes them fun
For me, it keeps me from breaking out the big guns (it rhymed)
Seriously, just want to say
Thanks for your post, even if not every day.
Cheers and a happy holidays to you all
I hope your days will never stall
This thread might slow down
But for a long time I think; it will, be-around.
Dan

You're riding a horse at full speed, there's a lion chasing you and a giraffe running beside you. What do you do if you've already thrown your shoe?

Riding full speed up on my trusty steed
A lion on my back and giraffe at my side
I'd just hold on until I finished the ride
Because I think what you are talking about
Brings children much pleasure and music abounds
My steed, the lion, and giraffe are all part of a merry-go-round
