I'm planning on making a Anchor Steam clone this weekend and was wondering if I needed to pitch it like it was a Lager or an Ale? I'm just not sure on how big of a starter I need to make. I'm looking around an OG:1.060. Thanks for the help.
Pitch it like a hybrid. There's a tab for it on Mr Malty. It's a pitch rate between an ale and lager, so about 1.1mm cells/mL/*P
ide do it more like a lager your still gonna ferment a little on the cool side
