Brewing my first lager tomorrow and created a 2L yeast starter of Wyeast 2035 strain. I let it ferment and stir at room temp.

Since I am brewing tomorrow, I'm not sure about the pitching temp. Should I put the starter in the fridge overnight and pitch it at a cold temp into 60 degree wort? Or should I wait for wort to chill to 48 degrees and pitch cold yeast? Or maybe leave the starter at room temp and pitch it into chilled wort?

Can't seem to find a clear answer. :mug:

get your wort to desired initial fermentation temp (sounds like you're going for 48).

put yeast in fridge overnight, pull out an hour before pitching and let it slowly warm until it's around 48 (ideally a little under 48, so the wort is "warm" to it).
