Belgian porter, Vertical Epic 090909
og 1.093, mash temp 151, 30 min aeration, 2 litre starter, beginning ferm temp 72.

9 days now and I still have agood size krausen
Gravity reading 1.020.

First time with Belgian yeast and first time with live yeast.

Is this normal? Only seen everlasting krausen with wheats.

I just finished a Belgian pale ale with that yeast 3522 and about to start another with it on Saturday. My krausen did last longer than normal but do not recall a day count. My OG was also 1.054 so a 1.093 would probably last a bit longer possibly?

That Ardennes is a beast. It's actually one of my favorites. 9 days with a krausen is not unheard of, especially with a beer that big. Just let it go. The yeast know what they're doing. Also keep in mind that fermenting that warm is going to make the yeast more active than if you were fermenting at 64.
