This morning it is 26F in my garage and I have a back to back brew day. Going to do my Bitter and a American Brown ale. So tell me why I want to get up in the freezing cold and brew again???? :drunk::drunk::drunk:

Because it appears you're out of bitter and American Brown. Do you have some sort of recipe you're following for that Biere de Garde in primary?
Here's how it looks at my place, hasn't got up to freezing in 4 days. Cellar entrance.

COLObrewer:

I hear ya. I live up in the mountains and it has been brutal the last week or so. -15 in the morning before work. It sucks........Well at least it might kill off all the pine beetles.

I have and IPA I would like to do this weekend. Might have to get out my snowboarding gear and down jacket to do it.

26F?? I'd kill to have it up to a balmy 26F.
This is the time of year I make my Lagers. My cold box has a constant flow of Lagers fermenting in it from October to March. Cold box is the wrong description, its actually a cupboard in my garage that I heat to 50F. The garage stays a perfect 33-36F through the winter except in January for a few weeks I have to throw a trouble light in with my kegs to keep them above freezing.
