So I have been thinking that I may want to split my cream ale that I have had in the primary for two weeks now. I was thinking that when I go to bottle I would only do half of the 5 gallon batch and rack the other half onto blueberries and leave it in the secondary for a few weeks.

I have never split a batch or added fruit. Any suggestions and how much fruit to add? I would rack into a 6.5 gallon bucket as this is all I have.

I do have a 5L PET bottle that I could use as a secondary to make a smaller fruit batch. Just want to try and see how it turns out.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
