Has anyone used a plate filter and experience a large amount of loss of hop flavor and aroma?
I just brewed a pale ale that I have done a couple of times. Its the american pale ale in brewing classic styles. Used the exact amount of hops and grain in that recipe. I used my plate filter system for the first time and now after carbing the beer I'm getting almost no bitterness and almost zero hop aroma.
I figured the filter would take something out but not everything.
