Hey i brewed this up about a month ago and just got around to trying it. Basically this is my attempt at doing a smash (almost) and using some belgian ale yeast just to see how I like it. It turned out extremely thin bodied (i prefer malty) and a tad bitter. It has a strong yeast after taste. Its not terrible, but its not good. Any tips on adding some malty-ness or character? I'm trying to get a feel for how exactly different grains and hops will affect my brews. I guess I was imagining this would come out smoother cleaner and more balanced than it did.
