So you are wondering if you can sub those hops in for the hops in the recipe? None of them are great subs, but it isn't a beer with a lot of hop aroma anyway. I would sub in the Cascades (adjusting for the AA%).

Hope that helps, good luck.

Thanks Oldsock, I saw a post awhile back that said its more than hitting numbers, which is what I am doing. I'm still new and not sure if the hops or the Vienna malt in the recipe work. I don't want to brew just to brew. I know personal experience will help me, the nearest HBS is an hour one way, so I was hoping to see someone say those hops with that grain bill will taste like *ss wait and get something different or what you said. I will sub the cascade.

Personally, I'd ditch the black patent and chocolate malt and alter the hop schedule if you want to use those hops with it and turn it into an american wheat. maybe something like
0.5oz Centennial @60
0.5oz each centennial, cascade, falconers flight @flameout and dry hop

depends how much hop aroma you want. I mostly just chose those amounts to use up an even amount of the hops. they also happen to be around what the final adds of 3F's gumballhead is usually quoted at if that helps.

Thanks again! I live in Charleston, IL. small college community. I'm going to try to get Bells Oberon Tonight.
