Bigfoot Barleywine
9.6% abv / 5 gallon batch
16.6 lbs Pale Malt
1 lbs Crystal 80L
1.5 oz Chinook Hops 14%AA (90 mins)
1 oz Centennial Hops (15 mins)
1 oz Cascade Hops (5 min)
.5 oz EACH of Chinook, Cascade, Centennial (dry hops last 2 weeks)
California Ale Yeast (recultured from Sierra Nevada Celebration, repitched on top of yeast cake from previous batch)
Primary for One Month, Secondary for Two Months, dry hops go in last 2 weeks of secondary. Bottle condition for as long as you can stand to wait.
