Hey looking to make a dry crisp but citrusy APA. Here is the recipe I came up with.

9 lb american 2row 87.8%
1 lb munich malt 9.8%
.25lb crystal 120 2.4%

Hops
.25 oz of warrior at 60
1 oz of cascade at 10
2 oz of cascade at flameout and I plan to whirlpool these before chilling for 20 mins

yeast
either 1056 or wlp 007

OG 1057
SRM 8
IBU's hopefully around 40 - 50

Any advice?

I like this recipe a lot, but I'm getting different results for the IBUs. The Cascade hops will give it a great APA flavor with 10 min and flameout additions, but I think you'll need at least .5oz of Warrior to get 40 IBUs. Putting your recipe into beersmith, with 15% AA for Warrior hops I only get about 20 or so IBUs. A bit more backbone from the clean bitterness Warrior gives may be good. Maybe get a little more bitterness from the 10 min addition as well? Say, 1.5oz at 10, 1.5oz at flameout.

To keep it dry, be sure to mash low. Maybe mash at 150F or so.

I like your recipe, but would add another cascade hop addition of 1oz at 20 min
