Today was brew day!! Using 1/2 lb chocolate and 3/4 lb caramel 10, steeped for 25 minutes, full 60 minute boil with one container golden light LME at 45 minutes and the other at 10 minutes. I used northern brewer at 40 minutes and Hallertau at 5 minutes. American ale yeast, and the finished product!! I have 2 oz oak chip soaking in bourbon for two weeks, then plan on adding chips and bourbon to secondary for a couple more weeks! SG looks to be about 1.050, which I think is pretty good.
