Just got the Norther Brewer Megapot 1.2 in 10 gallon size... Looking forward to trying BIAB soon...

I noticed it does not come with a "dip tube" - so using the valve to get the water our (test rune today), it leaves a little over a gallon in the kettle....

WHat do nost of you do for this - adjust your starting volume so you have about 6 gallons when finished? That would certainly cut down on the trub & break in the fermentor... or is it worthwhile to try & cobble together a dip tube of my own to get more of the kettle volume out?

I did two brews in mine before I installed a dip tube. I used the tip the kettle method.
