So after a few weeks I finally got around to putting together my grain mill. I was only able to get the base done before it started raining, hopefully I can do the hopper this afternoon.

It gives a great crush, can't wait to break it in with Yooper's DFH 60 min. clone tomorrow:ban:

What's your gap at? That crush looks pretty coarse to me.

I would tend to agree. I have the same mill and I found I *really* need to crank down the gap to get a good crush.

Crush till you're scared, they say. I believe that's a valid statement.

It's set at the factory setting .045". I can adjust it smaller, I guess I should do that before I put the hopper on.

It flours up a bit, but I think that's a sign of a good crush. When I run my hand through the grain I want it covered in flour.
