We are making a 15 gallon batch on Sunday. This is an Ale about 1.051 OG. We typically make a starter with 650ml and 1 smack pack for the 5 gallon version. To increase to a 15 gallon batch and single step starter we are considering a starter using 1.95L (approx. 1,950ml) and 3 packs of yeast.
Are we far off from being correct? Or would this be sufficient?
