I am new to the hobby and looking to get started brewing. It is always cheaper to buy used so I was hoping I could find some deals. I need everything except a capper and bottles at this point. I am located in Manhattan, KS if anyone is local and can help out.

I already have a 5 gallon pot and a burner, forgot about that, so no real need for a keggle.

Hey man... I'm in Salina and would probably give you one of my extra whatever. I have been grabbing the midwest groupons every time they come up (one ingredient kit with their base equipment set and $25 gift cert for $65).

How about a bottling bucket, ball valve, chunk of hose, fill tube, a fermenter with lid, air lock, racking tube w clip, hydrometer, a bottle brush, an eight ounce thing of sanitizer, and one of their crappy dvds for a six-pack of something weird you brew when you get your craft kind of lined out and are coming through town? Do see what you can do on that keggle. This hobby is like crack n you'll probably want it later. Talk one of your friends into storing it for ya!

You'll still need some ingredients and some caps, but you'd have the required gear.

PM me and we'll work out where you need to go to pick it up and to leave that sixer in the future.

Thanks again swifty, I'll let you know what I think of your beer when I sample. Any clue what's what?
