I also did my first all grain this weekend like some others. Things went pretty well, and had a lot of fun using all my new stuff. Made a mash tun last week. Got to use my chiller and turkey fryer. Made my first starter on wed night. I'm gonna try to do a starter from now on. I had activity within a few hours, and it's goin really nice right now. Anyways it was an APA and can't wait to taste the results. here's some pics from yesterday.

thanks. congrats to you too!! I thought about making the chiller, but it was actually cheaper to buy one. It worked pretty well. I did have to stir though, my tap water isn't very cool yet.

So you're not going to post the recipe? Congratulations I have a blast when I brew even though its just me and the dog.

:D It was a 3B kit that I ordered with the chiller for the free ship.

9 lbs 2-row
1 lb Crystal 15L

1 oz Magnum @60
1 oz Cascade @5
1 oz Cascade @1

and I used white labs CA ale yeast

Thought I'd do something simple on this one.

I did have a blast. It's my me time, with a 1.5 year old and another one in the oven, brew days are awesome. :rockin:

B3 recipes are pretty good. I have done a couple of them. Never brewed when my kids were that young so it must be very relaxing.
