Soo. i kinda want to experiment with brewing a 1 gal batch of "winter ale" and could use some feedback on ingredients.
This is going to be a ginger beer. and figured that pilsner malt would be fine. This is not going to be a heavy beer but a nice refreshing one. and Carapils 5 EBC
So since this is a 1 gal batch im guessing that
3lb of pilsner and 1,1lb of carapils would do the trick for the grainbill?
Dont know which hops would go well with Ginger? I have some saaz, EKG and halltrauer hop pellets i could use if it will work well with this brew? and how much ginger would be necessary to make this s bit spicy with a nice ginger aftertaste?
