I made a strawberry wine at the end of June 2013 and it must have sat on the gross lees too long. It still smells like and tastes a bit of gross strawberry. There was a ton of lees when I did eventually rack off of it.

I've never had this problem before with other wines, mainly I make raspberry. Is there anything that can be done or will this eventually age out? It was fairly strong at first and it has mellow some but it's still there. Thanks for the tips

I made a white grape peach once that say on a bed of lalvin 71b yeast for near 6 months I think. It got a nice rotten peach taste to it that never aged out. I have one bottle left that I plan to check after about 5 years of aging and see if it is better but within 18 months there seems to be no saving it.
