I've exhausted the threads on the very strange .6" OD wort in/out on the SS CFC that i just purchased from Midwest. I would like to get the .6" to 1/2" NPT. I didn't see anyone that has found a slick solution. One guy had some welded on, but there must be a simpler way. My current solution is to stick some 1/2" OD SS tube that I have into the .6" OD tube (pretty good fit, tiny but of wiggle room) and sweat it on and then use a 1/2" to 1/2" NPT compression fitting from there.

My worry is that sticking the tube into the .6" will cause a perfect place for gunk to build up. I'll be circulating boiling wort to sanitize, but it still has me worried.

Thoughts?
