I brewed a Scottish Ale and also threw together a batch of EdWort's Apfelwein. This was my first time doing the Apfelwein. Too bad brewing isn't that easy.
I racked 5 gal of Riesling into the secondary carboy , then decided to get brave and brewed my first Beer ever , a part grain part extract schwarzbier , man did it smell heavenly ! I cant wait for x-mas to open that package
This was really interesting, sorta of going back to my beginnings as a brewer. One pot, the stove & a strainer...some extract and hops. Partial boil w/ late extract addition. Rather refreshing to go start -> pitch -> clean-up in under 2 hours.
