White scoby

Hi everyone, first time posting here.

Here is my problem, i'm on my first batch of kombucha and i don't know if my scoby is healthy since its completly white and the ones i've seen so far all had this beige look to it. I tried taking a picture of it but it doesn't quite show its true color:

Here is some background info:
I grew my scoby myself using a store bought bottle.
I used organic darjeeling tea.
I used organic evaporated cane sugar.
I added 2 cups of the original kombucha, the one the scoby grew in.

Thanks for any info!

EDIT:
Its been fermenting for only 3 days now.
