Which was better?

  • Sierra Nevada Harvest Fresh Hop Ale

  • Samuel Adams Imperial Hallertau Pilsner

I really didn't taste anything special with Harvest, reminded me of....SNPA...

The Imperial Pilsener on the other hand...damn that is a tasty tasty beer.

Really though, these are two very different beers.
 
The Harvest tasted like a slightly hoppier and sweeter version of SNPA.

The Imperial Pilsner seemed much more bitter and didn't have the yummy aftertaste the Harvest did.

Both were interesting, but I loved the Harvest.
 
I was disappointed by the Sam Adams. It tasted too medicinal for me.
