Well basically I went to a "U Brew" store the other day, made a batch of beer. They said come back in 2 weeks to bottle it. I then realized how much the bottles cost (about $0.85/each). I started looking for other solutions and ended up looking for a kegging system. I probably have access to a minifridge, and the batch of beer is 48 litres. So I am looking for 2 cornelius kegs and everything else to set it up. I have found some on ebay(located in the US) but would prefer to buy in Canada. If any one knows where I could get a setup at a reasonable price please let me know.

Thanks

a keg set-up, while great, will cost more than bottles.
buy empties from friends for the deposit(2.40 for a case of 24).
thats what i did and collected 200 plus bottle in a couple of weeks(i guess my friends drink alot:drunk: )

Here's a couple of websites.

www.paddockwood.com (they are located in Sask and have online ordering)

and www.betterbrew.com (they are in Halifax, NS and have phone in ordering)

I've ordered from both and have had great succes from each one.

Also, there is www.neatbrewingideas.ca (they are in Moncton, NB. I haven't order anything, but I've heard good things from local homebrew shops. They also service the commercial sector)

Hope this helps,
IGOR

Many brew-pubs or Brew-on-premises locales won't let you use bottles that they don't sell. They often require you to buy the bottles from them, but it is usually a one-time investment, as bottles can be easily cleaned and re-used.
