Let me start off by saying this is only my second homebrew. I bought a brewers best wheat beer kit and had a big bag of frozen blueberrys in the freezer so I figured why not add them. I had the wheat beer in the primary for 5 days. I dumped the frozen blueberry in the bottom of my carboy and racked the wheat beer on top last night. Woke up this morning to alttile mess from the airlock blowing off. I now made a blow off and is working great. Most of the berries are now at then top of the carboy. My question is how long do I leave the blueberries in there? They are starting to turn white and the are covered in white "sludge" in less then a day. I am worried about them getting moldy.

5-7 days is usually enough....just rack from underneath them with your siphon.

Just dont disturb the fermenter when they are in there by opening it up all the time, your losing the protective CO2 blanket that's keeping those berries from going funky asap...most of those molds/infections require oxygen to take off.
