when to plant, Milwaukee area

Anyone know when to plant hops in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area?

I live in the South East part of Minnesota. I am looking at the end of April, or when the ground is warm.

Of course with this winter, it may be June before there is water, not ice, in the soil

I'd get some gallon pots and set them in a sunny window until the ground is thawed and you're past the last frost.
