Hey everyone, I am taking the plunge this year and ordered 3 rhizomes from northwesthops. I got a centennial, a cascade and a perle. When do you recommend planting? I was thinking about right around the first of april as most of the frosts should be done by then. Too early or late?
Thank you!

From what I'm learning, I think that would be okay. I just looked at wunderground.com's historical info for Great Bend, KS where I live. It looks like by the first week of April the average overnight lows are starting to get around 40. I think I'll go for it then but be prepared to cover them at night if we get a sudden freeze. I don't think there's anyway that could be too late.

I'm in Overland Park...I order Chinook, Cascade, and Fuggles...but since I ordered kinda late, I asked Thyme Garden to substitute Centennial and/or Goldings if they run out of the others.

I don't know how they'll do, but from what I've read, Cascade is great producer. How's your soil condition? Have you got a good sunny spot staked out?
