Wheat DME

What would be Wheat DME conversion to LMA, or opposite?
Is it same as with barley DME to LMA,because of different content of fermentable sugars.
And does the all wheat extract contain barley extract in it

It is about the same...
I don't know how they make wheat dme... I assume they make the 40/60 mixture of pil/wheat and dry/extracted the sugar.

Usually the manufacturer of the malt product will put that information on the packaging, for example, the wheat DME I get at my LHBS says 50% wheat / 50% barley. I would imagine that almost all wheat malt extract products are some combination of wheat and barley that is close to 50/50.

As for LME-DME conversion, I would use the 20% rule whether it was wheat or barley extract, meaning that you would typically use 20% less DME compared to LME because of the water content of the LME. Conversely, you would use 20% more LME than DME. Here's the formulas:

DME to LME > X lbs DME x 1.2 = Y lbs LME

LME to DME > Y lbs LME x .8 = X lbs DME

Briess DME is 60% wheat / 40% 2-row, according to my LHBS (it's not printed on the label, as Steinbart's repackages everything under the store brand "Brewcraft NW").
