I'm brewing my first beer and decided to go with a partial mash Wheat beer. I'm leaving it in the primary for about 10 days and then secondary for another 10 days. How long should I leave it in the bottle before drinking?

Thanks

scratch the secondary and you can probably start drinking after 10-14 days in the bottle.

Most people will tell you three or four weeks in the bottle at room temperature and a week in the fridge. While it's good advice, don't be afraid to throw one in the fridge after a week and try it. Keep trying them each week, and when they get to where you want them, start drinking them. Plus, you'll get to taste how different they are with more and more time.

Agreed. Racking to secondary unnecessarily just makes more work and possibility of contamination.

Keep in primary for 10 to 14 days. Bottle and let sit for 2 to 3 weeks. No need to keep it longer because you do want this beer to be a little cloudy.

Ha that sounds like the perfect idea. The fermenting bucket has a spigot on it. I could just put the siphon tube right in my mouth and keep it beside my recliner
