You're stuck on a deserted, beer-loaded island. What's the one glass you bring along? Don't worry, it's indestructible here. Beer island is a mysterious place.

*No drinking out of the bottle

For me, it's the trusty tulip glass. Twelve ounces. I love it's affinity for aromatics and head retention. I think smell is nearly half the flavor in some beers, and harnessing that is super important.

I bought some 16.9oz tulip glasses at Ross a few months ago. 4 of them for only $5. Work great for beer or wine.

Another vote for the big Nonic pints. I got a set years ago and they're awesome. The ones I got have a really pronounced "bump" in the middle, which makes them extra cool.

My favorite glass is this Samuel Smith glass I found for $1, at a Goodwill (Most of my glasses come from there). It has the same (flower?) pattern etched inside the bottom as an enucleation spot. I enjoy many beers in it. Currently drinking a Vermont "Switchback" Ale in it.

Very cool. Almost all of my glassware comes from goodwill and the likes. I've been thinking about ordering a fancy shmancy tulip glass and a drinking horn, though...
