What's Brewing on Emeril Green

Anybody see the episode of Emeril Green named "What's Brewing"?

It is about a homebrewer that is looking for food recipes to cook with his beer. Anyways, just another chance to feed the beer obsession.

I saw it. SWMBO recorded it for me, even though she doesn't like it when I cook with beer...or wine, or Rum, or anything alcoholic.

Now that's just crazy. Cooking with alcohol, especially wine (almost exclusively really) is as natural as making hamburgers out of beef. Only in this case you might have a hard time doing much french and italian w/o.

Although I just got a craving for some rum cake.

The odd thing is, she's Italian, and HATES wine ! I AM slowly weening her onto food cooked with beer, though.

I'm Italian and I don't like tomatoes. Just raw ones though. I'll eat them cooked. Sort of.
