hi all. I've got a doppelbock lagering. It fermented for 2 weeks and has been lagering for 3 weeks now. I still have some dried Krausen floaties from the side of the fermenter still sitting on the surface. In the past they have usually fallen by now. I was curious if anyone has had floaties for multiple weeks. Also, what does one do if they're still there when it's time to bottle? Just curious. Thanks for any replies. :D

I've had wheat beers where the krausen doesn't fall at all.

Rack from underneath. In your case, ignore it. That is practically nothing. I wouldn't worry about that little bit making it into the bottling bucket and eventually the bottles. You won't notice it once it's there.

Very good. I may be a bit premature anyway, they may indeed fall after another 5 weeks lagering. Thanks for the info! ;)

yeah, those floaties are nothing. I wouldn't worry about them. all fermentations are different
