What size sight glass

So i'm adding some goodies on to my 1/2bbl system and I am wondering what size tubing I should use for a sight glass. I plan on using polycarbonate but im not sure what the I.D. and O.D. should be. Also, what size elbow would be best coming out of the BK? Should i use a compression fitting or just get a snug fit?
