Anyone care to take a guess as to what has infected my Dubbel that has been aging for the past 2 months? It was cleared with gelatin about a month ago and this just popped up this morning. :( I'm not quite sure what would have caused it...The only time I ever opened it was to take samples and I made sure to cover my thief in sanitizer every time.

I'll be sad if I have to dump this because the samples were extremely good!

Thanks

Well, if I can make it into a sour, that's alright, I guess. :) I'm just shocked that it's there at all.

I don't see anything wrong. Don't dump, I get white floaties sometimes on my batches as well. Never had a bad beer from it.

give it another week and post another pic. If it's a pellicle, you'll know it by then.

Ya I dont think it's co2 unless co2 is capable of forming two 2 inch diameter white bubbles. I'm just gunna let it sit a while and see what happens. Really wish my co2 tank arrived last week when I WANTED to keg it.
