I just put this in the secondary about 5 days ago. Covered it up and just took a peek at it for the first time. I noticed some little things floating near the top. Kinda looks like yeast but i dont know. Is this normal?

Can't really see it that well on the video, but I'm sure it's yeast. Could you post a picture with better lighting? In any case, RDWHAHB. :mug:
 
Then ours look alike.

I brewed mine last Sunday, pitched the yeast about 6 PM. Krausen was high Monday morning and dropped later in the evening. The fermentation was vigorous at first but has since slowed down. My airlock burps every 15 to 20 seconds now.

I plan on leaving it in the carboy (glass) for three to four weeks, bottle, wash yeast, and start over with another batch of something else.
